Ultraviolet lasers

Ultraviolet lasers have both a medical and an industrial application.  Unlike most UVR sources, they emit UVR at a single wavelength – and so do not emit visible light.  Ultraviolet lasers can be quite intense and because of the lack of visible light they can be hazardous and exposure can be unexpected.
